Libby's Secret Dessert for The Holidays

Holidays are herrrrr! No humbugs allowed! I love the holidays! I start decorating my tree early November (yes, I'm one of those people) and I'm in the spirit for the next 8 weeks! Our family soaks up all the hustle and bustle we can, and we love it! And even though we have numerous traditions we celebrate yearly, there is one item of business always on everyone's list....Peanut Butter Balls!

Yes, I'm so sick of making peanut butter balls that I NEVER eat them! Haha! But let me tell you if you want to be the hit of every party, take peanut butter balls! We just had our Christmas Open House at the boutique, and we had lots of good food! But guess what everyone raved about? You guessed it! PBB! I really don't have any special talent at making these, but I do think a key ingredient often left out is Rice Krispies! So let me share with you the most requested candy recipe! And when you make these and take them to a party and people go cuckoo over them, remember me!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Balls:

1 stick of butter softened, not melted.

1 jar Peter Pan peanut butter 16.3 oz

1 box powdered sugar.( I think this equates to about 3 1/2 cups. Google it)

2 Cups Rice Krispies

Chocolate

Cream peanut butter and butter. Add powdered sugar and then Rice Krispies.

Chill dough a bit to make easier to roll.

Roll into balls and coat with chocolate.

They are best cold!

Now if you don't want to get stuck making these year after year, then don't start! We (hubby rolls them for me) have already made 2 batches and getting ready to make our third batch for Thanksgiving dinner! Trust me, they would notice if the pbb were not present!

Enjoy and Happy Happy Thanksgiving! Can't wait to Black Friday Shop!!
